Disadvantages: with
nonlinear loads (computers, etc.) sometimes there is low frequency
oscillation; the input side current distortion is large, the source
power factor is low; the output power supply has a phase shift to the
input voltage.
Compensated voltage stabilizer, suitable for making power voltage stabilizers that do not require high load properties.
Advantages:
fast response speed (because power tube is used as switching device);
can be made into a high-power model; output voltage distortion is small
(no additional distortion in the machine); high efficiency.
Disadvantages: The power semiconductor devices in the machine may fail, affecting the reliability of the power supply equipment.
