The dry-type transformer
produced by the transformer manufacturer is an important power
equipment. Generally speaking, the application of the transformer is
also relatively extensive. In all the faults of the transformer,
attention should be paid to the type and solution of the fault of the
transformer, so that for the future The application of the transformer
and the resolution of the fault will have greater benefits. What are the
types of transformer faults and the types of faults? Let's take a look
with the editor of our transformer manufacturer: we all know that
dry-type transformers play an important role in adjusting and improving
the voltage in the circuit , For dry-type transformers, its adjustment
must be adjusted according to the specific dry-type transformers in the
circuit. Generally, dry-type transformers have five gears, and each gear
has a different adjustment method. But usually it is adjusted according
to the voltage level.
1. Dry-type
transformer winding and inter-turn insulation fault. The insulation
between windings and turns is the part that is more prone to failure.
Long-term overload operation or poor heat dissipation conditions and
long service life are easy to make the insulation of the transformer
windings age and brittle, and the electrical strength is greatly
reduced. Voltage fluctuations may also break down the insulation. Water
in the transformer oil will greatly reduce the insulation strength and
cannot withstand the allowable voltage, resulting in insulation
breakdown. In the high and low voltage winding parts, due to the
expansion of the insulation, the oil passage is blocked, which will also
affect the heat dissipation, and the insulation will be too old,
resulting in a short-circuit fault. Due to imperfect lightning
protection measures, insulation breakdown may also occur.
2.
Lead wire insulation failure. The transformer lead is connected to the
external circuit through the inner cavity of the transformer bushing,
and the lead is insulated by the bushing. If the casing is not tightly
closed and water enters, it will cause the insulation to be damp and
break down. In severe cases, the fuel tank will be exposed to the air,
resulting in internal flashover and wiring failure.
3.
Core insulation failure. The iron core of the transformer is made of
stacked silicon steel sheets. There is an insulating paint film between
the silicon steel sheets. If the silicon steel sheets are not fixed
properly, the paint film will be damaged and eddy current will be
generated. The core screws, weights and other components that clamp the
iron core love you. If the insulation is damaged, overheating will also
occur. In addition, iron filings and iron slag falling into the
transformer will cause iron core failure.
4.
Flashover and explosion of dry-type transformer bushing. The
high-voltage side of the transformer mostly uses capacitor bushings,
which have trachoma or cracks due to poor porcelain quality, defects in
the capacitor itself, internal free discharge, and even if the bushing
is not well sealed, there is oil leakage, and if the bushing is dirty,
flashover and explosion may occur.
5. The tap changer is faulty. The fault of the tap changer is one of the common faults of the transformer. It is often caused by insufficient contact area, resulting in poor contact and short circuit fault, which eventually burns out the transformer.
